Andrew McGregor, P.Eng
Andrew McGregor, P.Eng., QEI, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been associated with the elevator industry for over 30 years. He has been appointed to the committee that determines Elevator Code in Canada, the CSA B44 Technical Committee and as well holds the prestigious Certified Elevator Inspector classification as administered by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in multiple provinces. Andrew’s reputation is determined and client focused, often achieving results with contractors and government regulators where others have given up. His experience includes management with a multinational elevator contractor as well as specializing in project management, accident investigation, contract negotiations and inspection of elevating devices with elevator consulting firms. Andrew edited and contributed to the national standard that regulates Government of Canada buildings – ED 16200. Andrew has assisted the courts as expert in two of Canada’s largest legal actions related to elevators.
